I spend my saturday nights cleaning.
and organizing.
So this is officially my first week of work.
I worked wed 10-5, thurs 12-6, today 10-6, and tomorrow night 5-11.
Every day I'm not working I'm in school, in other words I have no days off. I forgot how hectic it was to have a job and be in school.
Although this job gives me a lot more hours than my previous ones.
Which is good I guess, since I do need the money like whoa.
I have to get used to being on my feet for hours on end again too. It's no fun.
I also have to start making a schedule for myself to go into the studio and do work outside of my designated studio time.
Stupid subways.
Got off the ferry and the 1 train was closed.
Then the R train was closed.
So everybody was rushing to the 4&5 and the turnstiles were closed, so everyone had to go through the 2 rotating metal doors. What a pain.
Then the train didn't come in forever, and I had to walk from 14th bout 6 long blocks, barely made it.
And of course on the way back the 1 was still closed.
Had to get off at Chambers and get a shuttle bus, no signs, standing out in the rain, had to run off the bus to the ferry.
Too many puddles.
Do they think people don't work on saturday mornings?
A month from tomorrow and he'll be here(yay!). Hopefully the time will fly by.
I got him a bunch of things for Valentine's Day to be funny, including a box of chocolates, rubber duckie, bath bubbles, massage oil, cd of music, a book on desire, and a card that says "Love means never having to say 'Oops, sorry, I farted'". I wrapped each thing and numbered them in order of opening.
Haha, thinking about it just cracks me up.
Valentine's day is a ridiculous holiday, plus it's the first time I've had someone to give a gift too, gotta play it up. Haha. Oh man.
It's not even 10 and I'm ready to crash.
My feet are aching for sleep.
And I think I hear my new comfy mattress pad calling me.
