today, i finally had a picnic by the beach...
i randomly organized this on Friday afternoon inviting four classmates to join me. I brought bread that I baked ( Yiiiis I'm baking again) and we smooshed nutella on it.
B brought chorizos cheese and toast... A brought chips grapes and drinks... L brought bananas and apples and her loud laugh...
it was good fun
we were supposed to study but we ended up just staring at the sky and chatting for 3 hours until it got too cold to stay outside...
so A and I went to Casa Portuguesa on Verdi where I had the most amazing egg tart ever! better than the ones I rave about in Coloane in Macau. uurgh!
I think I'll do another one this Saturday if the weather is nicer. Maybe start early around 11 so we have maximum sun time
Angelicdaw was a bit shocked when I YMd her that I didnt put sunblock OR bring an umbrella to the beach. haha.
Anyhoo... its great to be back on LJ.
Goddesswilling this 1st year 3rd term will kick ass.
A classmate from college will be here next week and I'm thinking of joining her in Madrid to meet up with 3 other classmates who will be converging there.
Maybe this is Europe...
