I'm staying over at an Israeli friend's house this weekend and I'm learning quite a lot of Hebrew.
What's interesting so far:
Mami (pronounced Mommy) means honey. As in the context of: Honey, I shrunk the kids. And not the land of milk and honey.
Dai (pronounced Die) means enough. As in the context of a mother telling her children: That's enough!
I can just imagine seeing a mother with three rowdy children screaming and running around the mall and the mother pointing at them and yelling: Die! Die!!!!!
Hahahahhaaha!
