Memory Recall...
How many of us have that memory of those few people we used to call friends back in our younger years? Before the drama, high school, jobs, heartache of everyday life began to have it's grasp upon us. Some of us tend to forget as we adjust to the new life ahead of us. The other day while reading to kids over at an elementary school, I found a lost memory. Upon talking to one of the teachers their, my cognitive mind warped back. Apparently this teacher had known my relative. She had told me of all the good times they had while growing up. She seemed so determined to remind herself of all the time they shared that it made me think, "Where have mine gone?" I then thought about someone who I had fun with a lot in my years before anything really applied to me as true responsibility. Then I thought of one really good friend that had moved away a few years back. Fortunatley I found him. Now I just wonder how many of us get this chance to get to re know someone they haven't seen for years?
