(no subject)
For those of you following the drama of Ethan Allen 103, I have a new (and hopefully the last) update.
Ashley is speaking to me again, which is good because I don't know why she got mad at me in the first place and not Megan, too. I didn't want to lose a friendship over something dumb like this and now it looks like hopefully I won't have to. However, last night she forced Megan and I into a decision that we weren't ready to make.
She asked (and I understand why) who we were going to live with so she could find other roommates if we weren't going to live with her. Luckily I had the foresight earlier in the day to at least ask Sara where she wanted to live (in the 4-person double-roomed THs, the 100s, I think) though Megan and I were by no means ready to make that commitment. We really wanted to meet the other roommate or at least find out SOMETHING about her. We also wanted to go to various THs and compare what they were like. There are also other people who had wanted to live with us, like Ellen and Nora.
But since Sara already had a sort-of plan, and if we chose Ashley we'd still have to find a place to live and at least one (or up to three) other girl(s) to live with, we ended up saying, "Ok . . . I guess . . . Sara?"
I felt really bad because I think we upset her, but I felt even worse because poor Megan was so terrified the entire time she could barely speak. I think she thought Ashley was going to beat her up.
Well, I sure hope we like this girl of Sara's . . . what was just a simple offer last night is now a solid plan, for better or worse, I guess.
