Once again I have forgotten to update my journal!

Well, I've decided to take a break from writing for a week or two as my brain has imploded and needs a rest. I still have lots of ideas and drafts for my fic which has at times been all-consuming. So today I used public transport and went into Nottingham city centre for the first time in months. It was for my 2 yearly-eye test so it was essential, need to make sure they're still a-okay and my contacts haven't destroyed my eyeballs. Today has been awesome already. I have paid off a loan early, which will save me an extra £158 a month! Thank heavens for that! I have adulted! I have no further short term debt outside the credit card which I clear every month (only use that to boost my credit score, buy a couple of things on it just to pay off again).

So it's NYE. I've been working all week, I'm working tomorrow, it's all one and the same to me tbh. But it's a good time to draw a proverbial line under the year gone by and look forward to (hopefully) a brighter year to come. I was going to moan about work, because the pricks have put me down to do tonight's fajita shift and forgotten to give me even *one* day off this week.
