The chemistry in this gorgeous film is remarkable - the cinematography is spot on, the cast is strong, the script is gold - and it wants to be seen more than once for all its subtleties.
Perhaps best of all, it's a film Australians can be proud of (they are gonna go NUTS over this film - Lauren herself could not have hand-picked a better rold for Geoffrey)- featuring a character that is wonderfully iconic of their own soul and so brilliantly represented by our man... I'm so thrilled for him to have been given what must be the role of his dreams. Truly, truly, cross my fangirl heart...
Geoffrey has a lot of screen time and he is simply brilliant. They dressed him so beautifully, too! And he has so many lines to die for in this flick - it's definately an Ozzie Rushies' dream!
I thought everyone was brilliantly cast, with the exception of Churchill. This film is Colin Firth's revenge for being snubbed the Oscar for A Single Man. I found the framing of his shots to be very similar - it's another intimate look at a tortured soul, his forte. I could watch the man forever - and paired with Rush, it's too delightful and yummy for just one sitting.

At the moment, there are more films for me to see at the cinema than there has been for months! Harry Potter, the new Narnia, Warrior's Way, The King's Speech... argh! Now it's just finding both the money and the time to see them all!
