WHEEE! Can I do something AU... you know, verging on, or even daring to go into Walsie/Elizabeth territory...? Are there any rules, saying that? You see, I've got half a fic already written somewhere that I could type up and share which takes a bit of a Walsie/Elizabeth edge. XD Mwahahah.

And what do you mean no one's got the Marquis yet...?!!! *shock/horror* I thought he'd be the first to fall!

BTW, I'll catch up on reading your fanfic soon - I've just been busy and caught up with things in real life, as well as battling with silly little things inside my mind, as you do. :)

LOL - Liz and Walsie weren't that far apart. He was just a bit old for her, maybe... and yes they did argue a bit over certain issues, and I believe he got a slipper thrown at him once. :) Heh. But since I'm doing a story based on a film which is only loosely based on history... it's fine. :) T'is Geoffrey!Walsie, not real Walsie. I'll put that in BIG headers at the top of every page.

Now... do I need a plot...? XD LOL.

Sorry, I'm not being very clear - I mean pairing Walsie with Queen Elizabeth. (Y'know, it could happen... I'm even more inclined to think it after I read the novelisation of the Elizabeth movie.) But Walsingham and PotC Liz could make a fine pairing, too, methinks. :)

I'm looking forward to writing this. (And the Queen really did throw a slipper at him.)

Oh yeah - sneaky Seymour. Bad, bad man. The real Walsingham was certainly a hard, cold man, but he wouldn't have been so successful at his work if he hadn't been.

I'm thinking of maybe doing an "alternate universe" kind of twist from the end of the Elizabeth movie. Elizabeth and Walsie have, by this point, come through the uphill struggle of establishing her power as Queen together, and there's a lot of scope to take their strong bond of trust and friendship to the next level. :) *evil laugh* Rush's Walsingham is too wonderful a character to play with...
