[NEWS] Ao Akua DVD+PB Release Event (2009.01.23)
A press event for Ao Akua DVD and photo book release was held on Jan 23rd at Tower Records, Shibuya store, Japan. It was also a meet and greet arranged for Juri's fans in Japan to participate. The event began with Juri's recitation of messages written on her photo book, then interview. The stage were decorated by Juri herself. She brought along her Maui painting, diving goggle, table, etc from her home. Juri said, "I hope to create a feeling of home...a home that can make people more lively and happy. But now it looks like a campus cultural festival, sumimasen." (lol) ~Juri said that these DVD and pb are especially made to reward her fans, and they represent Juri's thoughts at recent time. If her thoughts were to change in the future, she will probably find another way to share with her fans.
Beside the postcard (similar with Juri's painting in Maui) given along with first-press DVD, there are another six different Juri's hand-drawn postcards to be given when you purchase the DVD at Japan local stores. The six postcards when arranged together can make up an interesting story. One guy won a set of six in the event and uploaded the picture. You can see Juri and Ao Akua all over..XDD
