Books
It wasn't the one I had initially started {I've still got 30 pages left in Memoirs, but I finished a book! I'll post a review prolly later tonight. *smiles*
Job & Mom
On another front, I cannot keep my job. Its already been given away, so I'm definately moving out. I've got no problems, and Chris and I might even move into the new apartment earlier than June {yay!}. I feel bad for imposing on Bobby for that long, as well as Rachael since I'm going to be having Missy stay there until I get my apartment cause Bobby's allergic. *pouts*
Mom is okay. She's not pissed at me all day, she'll talk to me and joke around - even when its just the two of us - which is a big deal.
Tuesday with The Family
Tuesday night was kind of a big thing. Mom, dad, and I went to have dinner at the Seafoam Room at Ponte Vedra Inn & Club {a very high-to-do country club/private beach of which we are members} for Aunt Donna Jean and Uncle Bill's wedding anniversary. My cousins Debbie, Barbie, and Colleen came {the last two with their husbands}. Colleen is Donny Jean's daughter. It was supposed to be an adult's night, but Donna Jean demanded Conor {Colleen's oldest child at 5 years old} come to dinner with us...in a fancy restaurant...and he's only 5. My mom and dad were kinda irked about that considering my 19 year old brother would not have been invited to this dinner. It was a HUGE deal that I was going and I'm fucking 22.
The shocker of the evening was not that Conor got into trouble - I had completely forgotten he was there at times. The thing that I will always remember is the fact that my aunt had waaaaaaaaaaaaaaay too much to drink. She was standing up and talking very loud, which was highly amusing to me. She had to have had some drinks before we had gotten there because...damn. She wanted to go dance with this group of people having a part downstairs at The Patio. It wouldn't have been bad, except they were old farts in Hawaiian shirts. *shudders* My family is officially crazy. *nods*
Musings of the Upper Class
Oh, and I found out a new package that Ponte Vedra is offering. A plastic surgeon is going to be seeing patients at the new spa they are buidling and then they get to stay in their rooms on the beach. O.o Yay! Its the Botox & Beach package! Just great. The kids sitting on the beach will be playing and suddenly....
kid: "MOMMY! Its a monster!"
mom: "Oh honey, no. That's just a plastic woman."
kid: "Oh. Okay." *goes back to sandcastle*
