Sims 2 Building Help

I built the Gro house and forgot to even the terrain that it sits on, so I can't make a pathway from the steps to the sidewalk because of the random incline it create around it.

What I'm asking: Is there a way to level the terrain UNDER the house without having to redo the entire thing? Cause I think I would have to shoot myself if I had to do ( Read more... )

Oh man. Granted, building was never my strong suit, but I don't think so. :(

Mootilda's Lot Adjuster can flatten the edges of the lot so that it matches your neighbourhood (or vice versa). You can use the "modifyneighborhoodterrains on" cheat to level the terrain neighbourhood view.

tried it, but the level under the house is still lower than the sidewalk. :( Pooh.

Wether or not you can level this depends on if the house is sitting level with the street. Do what dana_cz said first and see. This will flatten the entire lot to the sidewalk. Unfortunately though, if the house is sitting lower or higher you'll see the difference once you level the lot. Chances are the house isn't sitting than the sidewalk unless you lowered the terrain. If this is the case, why don't you just use flooring to give it a porch and use the modular stairs to make the step down. Then you won't have the jagged incline from leveling the lot. You'll just have to manually level the ground for the stairs and then the walkway to the street.

I've done this a few times too. It is irritating to be almost finished and find something like that. But I searched around alot one time and couldn't find anything to raise the house up.
