Disney & Work
I've been pulling out all my old Disney DVDs lately. We're getting ready to start packing, and I noticed I owned a lot of Disney DVDs I haven't even watched yet! Either that or I've only since once and a long time ago. Its been interesting. Right now I'm watching Cinderella, and it was one I bought when it first came to DVD and I haven't watched it AT ALL. Of course I've seen the movie a bunch of times, its just my DVD hasn't been used. >.< I feel silly.
I watched Treasure Planet, Tarzan, Atlantis, Pocahontas, Aladdin, Aladdin II, Aladdin III, Brother Bear, Muppet Treasure Island, & Hunchback. I've thrown in The Prince of Egypt & Anatasia for kicks, even tho they aren't Disney.
I need to go through my DVDs and find which Disney movies I'm missing so I can grab them. I love me my Disney movies. :) Even tho I worked for them for a year and hated every minute of it, my love for Disney is still strong. Man, I want to go to Mickey's Not-So-Scary Halloween Party. I still haven't been to one.
I'd also LOVE to go see Disneyland's Haunted Mansion at this time, when its all dressed up in Nightmare Before Christmas decor. A lady I work with used to work at Disneyland in Imagineering and inside the parks, and she recently took a vaca out there to visit friends and such. She said that they've opened the special ride earlier this year and it was amazingly good! JEALOUS! :D I wish they'd do that here in Orlando. I'd kill to see it. Maybe I can see if my brothers out in Cali will let me stay with them so we can go to Disneyland. I've never even been to Cali, and I rarely get to see my older brothers. I'm not sure where they live in relation though.
The house buying process is moving along great! In fact, we may even be able to close on the house a week early! We still haven't started packing, but we wouldn't be moving in right away. We need to get the place bug bombed, the alarm set up, the appliances, the sprinkler system working, etc. But I'm SO EXCITED! \o/ A place to call our own! I can hardly believe that this time next month we'll have a HOUSE!
Bobby and I are also excited cause last night we FINALLY completed all of the achievements for Fable 2, and OMG was it fun! :D So, out of the 77 games I've played on my 360, I've completed 5! WHOO!!! Only 72 more to go! heh heh...
Other than that, I'm finally getting some work to do at work {crazy, I know}, and I've been doing a lot of Sims 2, if you couldn't tell. I've got the next part of my little fic I've got going all planned out. Its just a matter of sitting and writing it. Hopefully some time by the end of the week I'll have it. Lots of sex and angst - it'll be good! *rubs hands together manically* muahahaha!
