Before I begin, I want to say a huge THANK YOU EVERYONE
for the kind words last week. So many people replied, and I really feel grateful to everyone. I was mainly shaken, not by the fact that they took my stuff, but that there were people in my apartment that I didn't know, invading my personal space. It really unnerved me.
We've got most of the stuff replaced, but it might be a while before we can get another Wii. Chris is going to see if GameStop has one since they were advertised on their After Christmas sale flier. I'm hoping, because I really want to play Animal Crossing again. And now I've got to play through most of my Xbox360 games since all my save files are gone. Darn! I have to play them all over again! :)
Here are some pictures of what had happened.
They apparently knocked on our door and when we didn't answer, they kicked in it in and broke part of the door frame.
Pieces of the door and the garbage bag they left behind. They also dropped a latex glove, but the police officer took it. I hope they get prints.
Fingerprint powder gets EVERYWHERE!
My TV is gone. :( How could they have gotten that 60'' TV out without anyone wondering?
Chris' monitor and our server were taken. It looked as if they were pulling most of the chords out of Chris' PC, so they were about to take it. Scary thought.
They were about to take my computer too, but something must of stopped them before they could grab both of our PCs. Thankful that happened. And yes, the baskets were empty and the magazines a mess. The only thing they did was knock over the hole puncher. I like mess.
It got too depressing looking at the large empty space.

Chris and I went a few days before he left to a friend of mine's place to decorate a gingerbread house. Lots of fun, and my hands got COATED in lard from putting the icing on it. I didn't get a picture of you,
cnagy. You were too busy playing Rock Band. :)
Chris and I
Orin and Bobby
This is what happens when you put engineers to the task! :)

Bobby and I went out to distract me after the whole ordeal, so we bought a new DS game since I still had my DS. :) Got this game called Theresia, and I'm currently addicted to it! Its a whole lot of fun! It has the spooky feel of Silent Hill to it, but no where near as good as that series since this is for such a tiny console.
And on the completely opposite end of the spectrum, I just bought a game that
tiney had mentioned a few months ago. Its so childish and cute, but I can't stop playing it either! Its hard to decide which game I want to play! Its called Princess Debut and you're a young girl who has to get ready for a ball and has to woo some Princes. Its just goofy fun. The only complaint I have is that the 3D transformation and dancing art is TERRIBLE. hehe

Christmas was fun. Went to Jacksonville on Sunday to visit my parents and do Christmas with them. My sister and her husband, my brother and his wife, and all 8 of my nieces and nephews were there. The only people missing were my two other brothers and their wife and fiance respectively (they're in Cali), and my great nephew (he was with his father). Chris was a little overwhelmed, but that's my family Christmas for ya. Luckily our house is large enough to fit everyone and let the kids run around.
We had Beach Road Chicken and let the little ones open gifts. Then we had to leave so I could work Monday.
Wednesday, after I got off work, Chris, Chris' aunt, and I drove down south to visit his parents. They're so sweet and I love them to death, but his family drives me NUTS at times. I guess that's what in-laws are supposed to do though. Its just a different atmosphere than I'm used to.
We opened gifts Christmas Eve and when we woke up Christmas morning we had a HUGE meal. Turkey, Ham, Sweet Potatoes, Mashed Potatoes, Corn, Sausage, salad, stuffing. SO MUCH FOOD! I was nearly about to pop!
We hung around a little while longer, mainly because his parents wouldn't stop whining about Chris fixing their computer, fixing their DVD player, moving the DVD players around to different rooms. Poor thing couldn't even take a nap without them sending me in to wake him up. Even as we were trying to put stuff in the car, his dad comes over to get Chris to program his radio in his brand new car. >.<
I do have to say, I was very happy to get out of there. One night...is enough. Especially since their place is a tiny little condo in a retirement community (even though they're not old enough to live there, but that's a WHOLE other story).
I had fun though, but I just didn't feel well.

And now I'm sitting at work for absolutely no reason at all. I think its time for me to leave.
