First, I want to say thank you to purple_cube for the awesome Atlantean Three {Carson/Rodney/Teyla} fic 'Homecoming', and thank you to ria_kukalaka for the TOTALLY great Carson/Rodney/Ronon drabble here! You guys are fantastic! *huggles you*
but back to the other point of my post...I really do love my Father. He and I are so alike, its scary - which is why its hard for us to communicate sometimes. But, all-in-all, we get along quite well.
He called me today, mainly cause I think he's lonely. Mom and Brother!Bobby are up in North Carolina to drop Bobby off at summer camp, and Brother!Patrick is out with friends. So, he decided to call me and find out my work schedule. He seemed happy that I was planning to come up on my two days off.
Heh, if only he knew the reason was to move my shit down here. I should have mentioned my apartment to him, but I really kinda want to talk to Mom first about it. She seems more level headed at times. If I were to mention this to Dad...yea...there would be yelling. However, Mom will do the quiet thing and then the 'I'll talk to your Father' thing. I can handle that better. At least I'm not reduced to tears.
So, apartment is cool. I'll have pictures up at some point of the nekkid place. Furniture comes tomorrow and I'll have pictures of that too. Then, once we get stuff in there, I'll take pictures of the final project.
Yes, I'm going to be one of those moms that shoves pictures at you forcing you to sit through all million of them. Just cause.
