Saturday:
The first event on the agenda was Bobbejaanland. It was "family day" at Karen's work, treating us to a free day at Bobbejaanland which we gladly accepted. They offered us free entrance, free parking and a permanent supply of sandwiches and drinks (you had to go to the entrance to get those though). There should have been a barbeque too, but we couldn't stay that long. Thank you "Persgroep Publishing"!
Some things about Bobbejaanland:
The dreamcatcher is a big disappointment: there was a lot of advertisement for this ride but it appears to be nothing more than an old ride that they gave a new look. It's better, but only slightly and still not very exciting.
There was a new rollercoaster for kids, OkiDoki which was very short but rather good for a kidscoaster. The "SpeedyBob" hasn't changed: they still run only one part causing you to miss the "we are going to hit those others"-fun! It's nice nonetheless.
The Revolution is still very good, but it's a shame that they don't fix the second laser.
The Typhoon is nice too, giving you a lot in one coaster (looping, corkscrews, free fall, ...)
The best attraction is definitely the Sledge Hammer. Unfortunately it only runs on specified times which is very strange. Luckily we got to do it two times!
We also did three waterattraction but didn't manage to get really wet.
We left quite soon, went home, changed clothes and headed off to the party from my work.
We arrived just in time for dinner (missed aperitifs). Took a lot of pictures and went home with a free cab. We had to wait a long time before that cab finally arrived... The cabdriver went really fast though, 140 km/h on a road with a 90km/h speedlimit.
Then we headed off to a housewarming party from Annick.
The party had didn't last long and everybody including us went home to sleeepzzzzz
Yesterday, sunday, there was a magic tournament at my place. We recycled a lot of cards making it cheap and giving those cards another use.
