cub scouts

Spent two days at cub scout day-camp. The boys had fun, and the adults are all exhausted. It's a good thing the poeple running it do most of the work. All we had to do was yell at our boys to stay with the group, eat their lunch, or pay attention.
Very little was "boring" for the boys. They got to shoot BB guns, bows and arrows, sling shots. Run obstacle courses, dig for fossils, build rockets, make leather bracelets, learn about our flag and how to care for and respect it. They got to push each other on go-carts, get a gem from a creek, and do some fun things that required working as a team.

Fortunately, we don't have to plan scouts until August. I think I need a break.

Came home and slept for 3 hours. Is it really a good idea to let old fat people be in the scouting program?
