Commenting on MTV's ability to "succinctly....
convey a sense of" Douglas coupland's
"whole body of work in a series of
30 second commercials" that end with
"the huge, black lettered legend:
PLUG IN," Jessica Abel says, "I guess it fits.
Books for non-readers,
thoughts for non-thinkers."

This is in her book  Soundtrack which I am
reading and like a lot.
