Hmmm...that's interesting, only because I never thought Locke was evil. I mean, it was interesting anyway but ummm...you know what I mean? Anyway, I never had the feeling Locke was looking to sabotage anyone getting off the island.
I also never saw it coming that it was Walter that torched the raft. I do agree with the explanation being lame, lame, lame! In fact, I believe my actual comment (out loud to the tv) was "What a crock of shit".

I was hoping for the more mysterious explanation... not that he actually set the fire himself, but that he wanted it to burn because he wanted to stay. And thus it burned.
This was the week that I was going to try to get back into "Lost". However, by the time I realized it was on, it was already half way through the episode... so I decided that next week will be my week to get back into "Lost"
I want to take this time to thank you for your spoilers, cause now I will be caught up next week when I watch the episode.
