(no subject)
so, things are going really well here. i love it. i know i say that in like every update and i don't mean to be redundant but anyways. i think though it is not that i like being 'here' it is that i like the people and the experience associated with 'here'. it is just cool to live with all these people who are going through the same thing as you and connecting with everyone you meet. I guess it is something too hard to write down but something that must be experienced. i hate that i have to leave soon not because i don't want to go back to school. i want to see my friends and all from home but at the same time i do not want to leave the ones from here.
4th of july was crazy. i have never been here on the 4th before so it was cool to see disney's version of fireworks for the holiday. they were really good. i was happy because i got off work right in time to see them go off. i got to watch them with my friends from work which was also cool. I have now spent every holiday in 'Germany'. this was an interesting one to spend there because it is an American one and so none of them really cared much about that it was a holiday. at the end of the fire works they played that, "i'm proud to be an American' song and me and Mandy (my German friend) sang it :) she was like "i love this song!"
oh yeah, we also got to see the space shuttle launch. everyone knew the shuttle was supposed to go off at 238 so at that time as many of us who could ran out the back to watch it, it was so cool to see it go off into the clouds.
today i was off and for the first time all 4 of us from apt 10204 were home for the day together....so we went to the pool! it was a fun roommate hang out time.
tonight i went to dinner with some of the perm servers from work. it was so much fun. like i said before there are some people that i will be sad to leave again when my time here is over but i am so happy to have this time with them. good memories
