Went to Columbus last night. Circle Takes The Square were amazing. Didn't play anything off the EP but that was fine because they played my favorite song. Junius were pretty good, too. Basically sound exactly like 'Jupiter' era Cave In. Saw Poppy and talked with him for a bit. And I got to see some drunk girl walk out of High Five with two 6-packs of beer and fall face first onto them while standing in line. Definately a plus.

I know I havn't been to a show in quite awhile but when the fuck did everyone start dressing exactly the same and have the same shitty hair? Didn't hardcore and punk used to be based on the ideas of being yourself and an individual? It was awesome seeing girls who you can tell were all about Britney Spears two years ago who now think they're top shit because their boyfriend in the totally underground Unearth hoodie takes them to shows. Shit like this is why I don't goto shows anymore. There needs to be a new big trend so all these fucks leave the scene.
