Return of the absent-minded hermit
After posting nothing but photos for a year I guess I could start updating my LJ again. I have kind of forgotten the social/reciprocal side of the fandom and the Internets for a while.
And if anyone suspects that all this time I have been out there somewhere living well-adjusted normal life without any fannish weirdness - get real, people. Books, TV, movies and fan fiction have been my main hobbies. Plus long discussions with similar-minded friends about Gollum slash, quality of fight descriptions in fantasy, furries in mainstream, the geek hierarchy, supernatural romance genre, fan fiction potential of children's songs... and other really important issues.
I feel like rhapsodising in lengths about
- Finncon 2009 (my first con ever!)
- HPB (finally saw it)
- Torchwood (some Children of Earth comments)
- Heroes (Sylar is so my new Krycek)
- Star Trek IX (yay! and some criticism)
