almost turkey day! yay!
i have nothing else to do. and i have some time to kill before dinner with the kids. so ill update.
finally. the semester is winding down. as marie said to me this morning at brunch, we can see the light at the end of the tunnel. classes are boring as all hell and i feel as if i am saturated with as much information i can possibly have on any given subject, like auditing. and investments. and strategic management. just two more weeks of classes and then a week of finals. the end is in sight! its been a hard semester. not easy at all. hopefully next semester will be a little bit easier but i seriously doubt that. especially with a tax internship. bring on tax season.
but other than being excited about the semester almost being over with, im also psyched about thanksgiving. i get to spend it with my favorite family. and i get to leave rochacha for a little bit as well. and im going to favorite place too. i think im just more excited about spending time with phil more than anything really. and it will be about 1000 times less awkward than it was for last years thanksgiving. last year, i knew phil for about a month and was going home with him to spend thanksgiving with him and his family and meet his parents. holy crap. driving down the whole way, i was a wreck. and then when he fell asleep and i didnt know where i was going! and then driving through nyc. i was a pro though. he said i did well. but this year will be so much different. should be about 1000 times easier. and i get to be shown off, right babe? ;-) although, i get to see the new house. so that could be interesting as well.
but im still excited. im sure it will all go by fast. and before i know it, it will be a week from now and ill be updating about how thanksgiving went. where does time go? i think im getting too old.
