the stupid jerk that roared
today i broke silence. call it bad timing, i guess. it has been a while since my father and i have butted horns, which might explain why it happened so quickly, and untimely. the subject matter was irrelevant, it really was. honestly, i didn't know i could shout so loud; in my defense, i really needed to be loud, becuase on the phone, the louder the voice, the more persuasive the argument. by the way, this entry is not meant to be disheartening, although it may have that effect.
after my tremulous and hysterically incoherent tirade, i checked my watch, out of habit i guess, and i realized that today is father's day in taiwan. eureka. haha. HAHAHHA. the conversation still managed to end with a "i love you, daddy, happy father's day." hope he got my e-card.
