For some strange reason he was comfortable, no back aching pain was found any where in his body, only the feeling of a dull pain from his shoulder could be felt, but even then, it was something he felt like he could deal with if he was properly awake and moving around. He let his body shift unconsciously after a long moment of being sure no pain would come to him, his head turning to the side, a prickly sensation tickling his nose, just like grass, no actually, he was sure it was grass, his eyes that had been closed for what felt like hours finally opening, the sight of emerald green grass taking over his vision. Junsu let his eyes blink for a moment before he willed himself to actually sit up, the arm that he could use properly helping him in the situation, the other one, he found to still be bound to his chest, the hand made support actually helping in good ways.
His eyes still felt exhausted, but he felt the best he had in the past weeks, months, his body feeling new, refreshed, like that strange dream he had, had made him into something new, like Jay had really placed himself inside of him and made him a completely different Junsu. Junsu paused his thoughts for a moment now, his eyes going wide as he looked around. The forest surrounding him, shadowed with the fading day, the pinkish hazel from the sunset casting a peaceful look over everything around, even the rush of water sounded pleasant. Junsu lifted a hand to his head.
‘Am I still dreaming?’
He mumbled, ruffling his hair before he began turning his heads in more directions, his eyes particularly wanting to find the river that sounded so welcoming.
‘Aiish..’
A voice hissed, catching Junsu’s attention just as his eyes had reached the river bed.
‘This trip has made me more filthy than one of those wannabe pack rat’s back home..’
Chansung voice spoke, Junsu’s eye brow raising as he tried to find where the thief was exactly, the river seeming more wide and large than he thought, mostly empty water was all he could see until he caught a glimpse of darkened hair moving from behind a nearby bush, Junsu’s eyes squinting, the dark strands disappearing then returning, Junsu instantly pushing himself up into a standing position, his head tilting as his feet slowly brought him towards the bushes.
--
‘Ahh, I don’t know how much more of this I can take..’
Chansung groaned, scooping up a handful of water in his hand’s splashing his face, the cold water taking it’s time to run down his skin, his hand’s now slicking back soaked hair, pushing the strand out of his eyes, his gaze staring straight ahead as he sighed again, his shoulders heaving up and down.
‘That rust bucket is going to kill me if I go back to the inn..’
Chansung spoke to himself, letting his hand’s rest on his hips, his body slightly leaning forward. He’d only been in their for a few moments and could already feel the cold water seeping into his skin causing his joints to hurt, his knees slowly feeling as though as they would give out. Chansung frowned.
‘And I still have to carry June back if he’s still knocked out cold..’
He complained, using a hand to splash a bit of water.
‘Ugh! Why’s this all have to get so complicated now! I mean we are almost to Busan!!’
Chansung shouted, a flock of birds seeming to be shaken as they shook the tree trying to fly away, the sound lasting longer than expected, different actually after a moment, the sound not really sounding like a tree. Chansung’s head turned a little, eyes glaring at the now moving bushes, the rustling continuing even after Chansung had gone quiet, his trained eyes watching the bush as a hand suddenly appeared.
‘I am not a women and I’m sure as hell positive you don’t want a knife up your ass so I suggest if you’re a peeping tom that you go away.’
Chansung spoke bluntly, the hand freezing, but still pushed aside, Chansung’s face scrunched up.
‘A-Ah, Chansung?’
Junsu’s voice rang loud and clear through the brush, the man sounding hesitant as he slowly poked his head out, except upon noticing bare skin quickly hiding away in the bush again.
‘Junsu?’
Chansung asked, turning around, his eye brow raising and an smirk forming on his lips, he was guessing the prince wasn’t use to seeing others naked.
‘I’ll just wait for you to finish. Please take your time, I’m in no hurry.’
Junsu quickly stated, his voice shaky behind the bushes.
‘Hey June, Why don’t you just join me?’
Chansung asked, hearing a squeak from behind the bush.
‘What?!’
Junsu squeaked louder, the thought apparently not settling with the other, Chansung rolling his eyes, moving a bit forward, the water swaying around him as he moved closer to the brush, his hands reaching out, pushing aside the mess to reveal a startled Junsu, a blush spraying across his face. Chansung smiled.
‘Suck it up and be a man, not a prince.’
Junsu blinked, the moment the mess of leaves and branches parted he felt his cheeks heat up, Chansung appearing out of no where, a stupid goofy smile across his face that made Junsu think back to his dream where Jay had been staring at him with a similar wide dream, Chansung’s lips curving just enough to give it that goofy look that Jay had given him before he woke up.
‘Take care of him for me..’
Jay’s voice rang, Junsu biting down on his lower lip as Chansung gestured him towards him, his body leaning forward onto the slight ledge the river had created with all it’s water, Chansung’s entire body not completely exposed, but Junsu knew if he thought about it, his head would probably think about something strikingly close.
‘B-But I can’t get in, not with my shoulder, the cloth will get wet.’
Junsu replied, hearing a grunt from Chansung.
‘You can take it off, cold water against you shoulder will help if it’s swelling, just don’t move it as much, the rivers pretty slow so it’s not going to hurt if you want to get more into the water.’
Chansung retorted, causing Junsu to hang his head, the thief was making this impossible to get around, but then again, after thinking about it for a moment, he did need a bath, and whether he had an injury or not, he was not going to be dealing with any sort of smell his body just might be lingering.
‘Y-You can’t look until I get in.’
Junsu spoke through the bushes, hearing the rustling of the water, Chansung obviously turning around, or so he hoped.
‘Alright Princess I’m turned around.’
Chansung snorted, Junsu throwing his own glare that even though Chansung couldn’t see, he could probably feel, a hand reaching back to grasp at the cloth and carefully bringing it over his head, not bothering to untie it if he was just going to put it back on, a slight pain causing his to wince as he straightened his arm out. At least the pain was only dull now.
Junsu sighed, standing up out of the bushes, his good hand slowly unbuttoning each button like it was something valuable and he didn’t want to give it up. The shirt slowly slid down his body now, his bottom lip being sucked in as even a small brush caused the dull pain to be a little worse, his shirt hitting the ground within seconds and Junsu was staring at a healing bruise on his shoulder.
It really wasn’t as bad as they had been out to make it, it looked like a very old bruise now, only a little purple in the middle, the rest a greenish, yellow blue that made his upper shoulder look awkward, he wasn’t even sure what the back looked like, but he was pretty sure it was just the same.
‘You know we don’t have all day, it’s already getting dark and I already have a death wish waiting back at the inn with Taecyeon unless Wooyoung hyung managed to calm his rusty ass down.’
Chansung announced, Junsu steering his eyes away from his shoulder, his arms slowly lowering down as the rest of his cloths quickly came off and he kneeled back down, pushing through the brush so that he could see the ledge properly, his foot slowly going over, then his body following.
‘Yah! It’s so cold!’
Junsu yelped, the freezing water sloshing around his waste making his body feel like an icicle, his arms wrapping around his body the moment Chansung turned around, his eyes probably falling on the bruise on his shoulder, but that was the last thing he cared about, he was just trying to keep warm and stay clean.
‘You gotta get fully into the water so your body can adjust to the temperature.’
Chansung explained, Junsu’s going wide, his teeth were chattering and Chansung was telling him to get all the way into the water?!
‘Excuse me, but this is to cold!!’
Junsu shouted, Chansung making his way slowly towards him, Junsu slightly back up, his back hitting the ledge of the river. Chansung’s lips puckered up.
‘Well, it’s the only way, body heats not going to do much.’
Chansung shrugged Junsu shaking his head back and forth.
‘You know what, body heat sounds like a good idea. Come here! I order you to come keep me warm.’
Junsu squeaked, looking Chansung dead in the eyes who looked more than ready to laugh.
‘Dude, that’s going to be more than awkward with both of us naked, maybe I should of just agreed to let you stay out of the water.’
Chansung joked, that goofy turning to an embarrassed one, Junsu narrowing his eyes.
‘I don’t care, I’m cold and I needed a bath anyways, so what better to get warm and then continue with a bath so I don’t smell.’
Junsu stated, coming off the ledge now, waiting for Chansung who only stood a few inches away, but backed up with a strange look on his face.
‘Ew you smell, I’m not touching you!’
Chansung shouted, Junsu’s shivering body getting worse as he frowned towards him.
‘Chansuuung!’
Junsu whined, feeling his teeth start to hurt from chattering together so much, his mouth opening to say something again, but two arms wrapped around him, pulling him more towards the middle of the river. Junsu wasn’t protest though, an awkward yet comfortable feeling over coming his body as his head rested against Chansung’s chest.
‘Warmer?’
Chansung asked, trying his best to push the awkwardness aside, if the two weren’t naked, maybe he could deal with this, but because they were in the middle of a river, no cloths and it getting darker, yeah, it wasn’t something someone could get use to right off the bat, he was surprised Junsu wasn’t whining again.
‘I am, thank you.’
Junsu mumbled, his arms hesitantly wrapping around Chansung’s waist, another image of Jay’s fading body appearing in his head, mouthing words that repeated in his head over and over again.
‘Um.. Chansung. Can you do me a favor?’
Junsu spoke, his voice a little louder than the last time, he felt Chansung adjusting his position, trying not to brush against any inappropriate places.
‘Sure hit me.’
He replied, Junsu now pulling away, his eyes narrowing.
‘Wait.. What? Why would I hit you?’
Junsu asked, Chansung’s face instantly lighting up, a snort of laughter passing his lips before he shook it off, Junsu’s bottom lip pouting.
‘It’s just an expression used for questions like that.’
Chansung replied, Junsu raising an eyebrow, shaking his head but quickly went back to huddling against Chansung, his warmth trying to disappear.
‘Will you do this again tonight? This warmth thing we are doing now?’
Junsu asked, not sure what Chansung’s face was showing, but he wasn’t laughing or pulling away so he must not of sounded stupid in any form or fashion. Chansung’s grip only tightened.
‘Why?’
Chansung’s voice asked, it sounded curious in a way, Junsu’s arms becoming loose around Chansung’s bare waist.
‘Because it feels warm, comfortable.. K-Kind of like how I felt when you did that.. ‘thing’ on the carriage..’
He spoke, feeling Chansung’s body go tense.
‘You liked that? I mean, it was only an accident, I wasn’t thinking straight.’
Chansung stuttered, his voice faltering as his arms also loosened, letting a small gust of cold air rush between them, causing Junsu to shiver and cuddle closer.
‘I did kind of.. But I don’t think you were completely out of your mind.’
Junsu stated, earning a chuckle from Chansung, something that was normal and didn’t make this whole conversation seem strange along with the position they were in.
‘You know Taecyeon would hurt me worse than he already is going to.’
Chansung replied, Junsu shaking his head back and forth. He had a way around Taecyeon.
‘I’ll order him to get over it.’
He spoke, Chansung’s body shaking with another fit of laughter.
‘Oooh a bolder prince, I like this little by little… but uh, Junsu.. Can.. Can I do something since we are in this position and you’ve already admitted to kind of liking it? I kind of want to make sure it’s not just my fuzzy messed up head that’s making me do this shit to you..’
Chansung stated, Junsu slowly backing away, his arms wrapping around his body, he looked so innocent and fragile from a far, Chansung couldn’t help but smile at how cute the prince actually looked.
‘Chansung, did you hear me?’
Junsu half shouted, shaking Chansung from his thoughts, his eyes staring directly into Junsu’s.
‘Oh, Uh. No. Say what you said again.’
He spoke, moving a step closer, the look in Junsu’s eyes already giving him a thumbs up before he could even say a word.
‘I said you cou…’
Chansung always had a way of cutting his sentences off mid way, his lips crashing hard against his. Though it was soft, Junsu could still feel the roughness as Chansung pushed a little further, Junsu’s eyes closing slowly, the feeling of that welcoming warmth hitting him all over again in a rush, making Junsu unsure if he could let go. If this was how it felt to Jay when he was with Chansung, the Junsu knew for a fact that it was going to be impossible, he actually thinks he understands now why the two were so attached. It was more than addicting.
It lasted longer than Junsu was expecting, his eyes opening the moment Chansung pulled away and both of them could barely breath, the cold water no longer even mattering, nor the fact that neither of them were wearing clothing, right now Junsu could only pay attention to the way Chansung was looking at him, his eyes half lidded and spaced out, something that was a little rare.
‘You know, I never thought it would be possible to ever do that again with someone else other than Jay. But you know, to be completely honest, it felt a little better.. Like a light was being lit up inside me.’
Chansung mumbled, his hands now resting on Junsu’s face.
‘You’re going to let me do that more right?’
Chansung asked, his eyes pleading with Junsu’s, it’s not like he could of objected, a smile spreading across his face along with Chansung’s.
‘Only because it feels just as right with me.’
