Not dead yet, still alive and kicking! When ys doesnt blog for close to a week, you know shes busy. Oh very busy with maths and poster-making. Didnt even have time to touch my liuqin since Monday, and have to chiong out for this Sunday's lesson. But as you can tell, she's quite high now so yay. (:
Recap for the week, highlights being Envrionmental Bio's trip to Lower Peirce and Chek Jawa, Entrepreneurship's talk by Mr Benedict Chong of Temasek Foundation and by Rockeby Biomed, today's Maths EOYs and RJC Open House. & Oh yes, Monday was a school declared holiday because it was Children's Day, and went out with Huiwen to study at Coffee Bean Taka, with dinner ending off at Crystal Jade. Tuesday was the trip to Lower Peirce, and Kuoying and I felt like we knew everything already thanks to LYFE. (: Was quite slack really, ended with a mere 2 hours trail, before all of us proceeded off for roti prata. Wednesday was Chek Jawa (seriously 2 days in a row fieldtrips are like woah). Ms Tan came along with us. Pretty interesting, mangrove/seagrass/etc ecosystems are tres cool! At one point, we were looking at this pillars rooted in the water for barnacles/oysters, and Ms Tan was like, "Yiu sum, you're finding the oysters to eat right." -.- Then Kuoying was feeling pretty hungry too, so she asked me to ask Ms Tan to buy some currypuffs. I was like why cant she ask herself (pretty weird for me to ask), and she said, "Cannot la! Out of character for me to ask." Zzz makes me feel like some eating monster. (vs Cookie Monster) 8D
As for yesterday, Maths test was pretty okay, but I need a 73/75 to get a 4.0 so no hope rah. After that was entre, before going for RJ Open House with Huiwen and Xiaodi. The booths and format feel pretty alike, so there's still a sense of familiarity. (3 months and offfff to RJ!) They had the Sports CCA "performance", tres funny with all the mistakes made, but pretty cool at the same time. (say bball, gym (hey guy gymmers are like eye-openers) etc) Lurked around CO booth mostly (and meeting future seniors 8D), before visiting Jingxuan and chatting with her (and Bingliang joined us later) till 5 plus. Pretty nice catching up heh heh and experiencing her "thinking too much" habits. (All the best for A levels!) Dinnered at J8 Ajisen with Huiwen, walked the entire j8, and home abound.
& ALL THE BEST TO JUNIORS FOR EOYS!
(Then quickly resume CO pracs so that we can go visit. :D)
