Stable
These days have been quite monotonous. Novelty of options life wearing off, but its still good. (: Amistad (just finished watching Part 2 during the previous Shining City lesson) is a great movie, tear-jerking, heart-stinging looking at those African American slaves being mistreated (all being chained together by a heavy metal weight dropped into the sea, and each slave just sliding off the ship with pain and horror on their faces, then sinking one by one and disappearing into the depths of the sea, all linked together by those chains). So really, shining city's pretty much interesting, been long since I have been annotating lit texts! + Group (Nicole T., Nicole S., Sandra, Xiaodi, Stella) is love. (Sandra's like funny, she said I look like a geisha hahaha. Maybe that's what happens when you still have Memoirs zhangziyi stuck in your wallet.)
Environmental bio on Tuesday was spent at Bukit Timah Nature Reserve, climbing up and down the steep steps, and learning about plants (really similar to lyfe fieldtrips). Didnt know that after the catchment path theres this really nice large open area. (: Pretty tiring, but few of us were treated to prata, thanks. As for Entre, lessons have been getting slightly dry, but still interesting with the videos we watch. American advertisements= innovative yo. Watched a bit of Patch Adams (another NC16 movie, this time with sexual connotations as opposed to Amistad with violence and gore). Hilarious show. (Anyone has the DVD please lend me!)
Today went out with Huiwen after her pharm chem, kfc and nydc for dinner. We are starting to worry for our prom dresses, since we have not even started looking. Any suggestions? (Meli? Cherylng?) Studied a bit of maths at Orchard library in preparation for next Friday's maths eya. As for morning lessons, Philo and CLE today were fun and touching respectively. Most of the scholars were tearing after the words Hanh Linh said, so sweet. Love 405! (: We shall pwn netballcarn tomorrow!
Other random things would be, deciding whether to move to wordpress, working on a new layout for lj (html> overrides, thats whats bad about lj. &darn, I miss diary-x), deciding whether to go for hsinghai for their dec concert, being scared of liuqin lessons (wed lesson was bad), having scattered dreams (of countless cats, of taxis, of escaping and chasing, of persistance).
