Sound check and Cosplay
I figured I would be pretty busy these two days especially, so I think I ought to say something about this coming Wednesday's Sound check.
Would we mess up this one and only chance of rehearsing at Singapore Conference Hall, and end up playing with really badly? I hope not, because this rehearsal is something like a Formative Assessment, a very important one indeed. Lets treat it seriously, and play to our best like what how we will do so during SYF. Lets give in 120% of our efforts, so that when SYF comes, at least 100% would be left, whilst the other 20% going to factors like nervousness.
Talking about which, Wednesday is also balloting and the order of competition would be out. Qian and I are feeling kinda excited, but at the same time apprehensive about it. The SYF mood is really starting to kick in haha. Oh and I think reading Dawn's SYF 05 entry was really inspirational. Suddenly all the memories of us promising a GwH for SYF 07 floods back. We still have one more month to go, aim high people and prac hard to achieve that goal! But at the same time, enjoy yourself (ha I said this before, but as Dawn said, the process is important). Getting a GwH will be a great bonus for our efforts yes!
Tonight I have settled some cosplay decisions. Hopefully I can manage, because at first I wanted to give up on Cosfest due to the huge amount of work for CCA/School.
Cosfest: Kallen from Code Geass (Uniform version most likely)
Photoshoot: Pretty Cure with Lenne
(Unconfirmed) Photoshoot: Fate/Stay Night?
EOY: Undecided but must.see.if.I.have.$$.left.
Cosfest08: SVenus (Battle Suit Version) with Inu, Lenne, etc.
Photoshoot: SVenus (Gown Version)
Would be roughly like that, hopefully it wont undergo changes. Hopefully would be able to improve my sewing skills as well with these more complicated projects!
