Sticks and stones may break my bones, and so will words.
"Get out! I refuse to aknowledge such an unfilial son!!!!" he roared, words piercing through my heart.
And I ran out. Streams of fluids running down my face. I didn't know where I was running to but it didn't matter because anywhere was fine if it means being away from the beast.
The beast that brought me up by feeding me with lies, and showering me with hatred.
My father.
I stopped running the moment I reached the park and felt it was safe. It was eerily silent as it was close to midnight.
Like an abandoned boat floating in the middle of nowhere. No direction.
I weeped silently to myself. Letting sadness control me. Tears have never flowed out so fast, soon it drenched the collar of my shirt.
"Yoo--- chun?" I heard a familliar voice calling out my name.
Turning my head slowly to the voice, I saw a shadow approaching the bench I was at.
As the figure came closer, the street light casted on him. It was you, Junsu.
"Yoochun!" you ran to me, immediately wrapping me in your arms.
Unsure, I hugged back because I didn't know what else to do.
You're beautiful.
Your warmth felt so comforting on the cold lonely night. I didn't feel so scared anymore. The eerieness of the night suddenly became a peaceful one.
"I love you baby," you said.
Why are you here? I managed to ask in a small whisper.
"Shhhh, don't ask." you said, craddling me in your arms as though I was a newborn. Wiping every tears with so much care and concern. Kissing my puffy red eyes with so much love. It was too much and I can't help but drench the cheeks that you've wiped dry, once again because I love you too Junsu.
"You're beautiful," you smiled. "Do you know that?"
Tears welled up. Again and again.
"Whatever the world says, it doesn't matter."
Vision of you blurred.
"-- because, you are my world and you're beautiful so that's the only thing that matters. Your my beautiful world."
And they rolled down my cheeks.
Can you hold on to me forever?
Look how they shine for you. And everything you do.
"Look Yoochun, look at the stars, aren't they beautiful?" you said, pointing up to the skies. You were sitting cross-legged on the grass, under the tree. You said the bench was uncomfortable and now I was lying on your lap, looking up to see the night sky, but seeing you along with the stars made you look like one of them, except even more bright.
"But they're not really glowing on their own. Yoochun, they're not really shining."
I sighed.
"The sun's up there somewhere, giving them the light," you looked down into my eyes.
I smiled.
"And I am your sun. And you are my star. I give you light so that you can shine beautifully, Yoochun."
My arms wrap around your neck and you lowered your lips to mine.
I think the stars are watching us kiss.
Our love, once so beautiful, remains forever beautiful...
I never believed in fairytales and happy endings.
I never believed in anything or anyone at all. But now, I believe in you.
