Indiana Smith and the Story Conference

In 1978 George Lucas had just released Star Wars. Steven Spielberg had released Close Encounters of the Third Kind and Jaws. These two men were Hollywood.
They called up Lawrence Kasdan and invited him to a story conference about this next movie they were working on. They wanted him to write the script. They needed to work out the story together. This link will lead you to a transcript of that story conference. That story conference lead to Raiders of the Lost Ark.
