So I'm taking this class at AI called Characterization. I have to make some model sheets and I have to come up with a storyline. Naturally, which characters and storyline do I pick? SCD, of course. So I take my character designs in there all proud of their development and design. Little did I know that my school has a deep hatred for anything remotely Eastern/Anime. To quote the teacher, "Alright, well, we're gonna throw this stuff out and steer you more towards realism." Picks up Juno's character design. "Alright you need to lose the hair. I mean you don't have hair like that." *pulls out bangs* Actually, yeah I do. Dick. "Well, you have to change it and lose the trench coat." I'm not changing a character that has been developed for FIVE FRICKING YEARS! "Well, your opinion doesn't matter. Mine does." Glad to know that my passions and dreams don't matter. "Even if you plan to go to Japan, most of Japanese animeation is turning to Western styles." WRONG! It's doing just the opposite. Look at the statistics you idiot. "Well, this kinda stuff isn't going to be accepted upstairs." So tell me, are you racist? Is that what this is about? Are you insulting my heritage? Cuz I'm half Japanese, asshole. *sigh* So yes, I'm NOT happy about that. I'm actually going to go the president this week and dispute this. Is that not the biggest load of crap?
