Another (infrequent update)
More apologies for not responding to the plethora of posts that I've been missing, but as usual I'm going crazy down here with busy-ness!
The past few weeks have largely been spent trying to write up resumes and ship them out (well, more like answering five hundred selection criteria statements). I've found a job that I would absolutely love, part-time, as a migrant youth support worker (with an optional extra 12 hours until June running a homework program). I'm hoping that I'm going to land it, as it's in an area that both D. and I really love.
My birthday is also coming up next week, which is rather interesting as I've been paying it very little attention. Ny key concern is employment (obviously) so if someone could send me a big shiny job in a box, then I'd be more than grateful.
Interestingly, The Ex House is still giving us trouble- we haven't received our bond back yet, as supposedly Christal's signature didn't match up with another signature they had- which is interesting since I was standing there when she signed the form. At any rate The Enforcer (ie. Pittman) is onto it, and sent me a lovely email suggesting we catch up when he's in Melbuorne. Which would be nice, given the fact that we used to be friends before we lived together!
I've also just heard from two old high school friends, one of whom is getting married inSeptember, and now has (in addition to the child born about five years ago now), a 3 month old. So yes, my past appears to be catching up with me!
