oookay I kinda stopped reading that cause I haven't finished it (I've actually only read bits and pieces but I read the last chapter fully and the Prince's tale or whatever that chapter was that feature Snape and Dumbledore)
I have to admit, I cried when I read that Snape was the one who protected Harry from the dementors. See I thought I read or perhaps I'm just stupid, that it was Harry himself who made the deer appear. I was completely wrong, and I'M OKAY WITH THIS!!! But really, I loved Snape the whole way, and I'm so so so SO happy he was a good man at the end :)
Ok so I really don't like Harry and Ginny. They make me want to puke. I'm a Harry/Hermione girl. A lot of people have actually suggested not reading the last chapter. I kind of agree. 19 years later? And everyone's kids are only 10ish?? Wow. They all waited a long time to have kids. (And I'd kill my parents if they called me 'Al') Of course I was mad to see Ron and Hermione end up together, but at least she LIVED. For awhile as I was skimming in the line, I didn't see her name and I began to panic. (And I announced to the store that Harry is naked in the book, to which one guy shouted "IS THIS A PICTURE BOOK?!")
But yeah. It was alright for the parts that I read. I'd be so confused if I dove into the whole thing, and knowing I won't finish it, I didn't want to start. So I'd rather pick and chose. Like looking for good fruit. Hah. Only you gotta look harder in this case. Whoopie!
what part do you mean, with the dementors and the doe? There weren't any dementors in the woods when the doe appeared...the doe led him to the sword of Gryffindor. If you mean in the end of PoA, then yes, it was Harry who made the stag (not doe)--he thought it was his father but really it was him from the future.
I don't think they waited that long to have kids--Harry and Ginny's son James was older, probably 13, and Rose and Albus were 11, and then Lily and probably Hugo were 9. I mean, considering that Harry/Ron/Hermione were 17 and Ginny was 16 at the end of the last book, that'd mean Ginny had James when she was 22...hardly a long time, hahaha. I just hated all the names, with the exception of 'Rose', because I thought it was cute that Ron called her Rosie.
If you thought Harry/Hermione were gonna end up together, you're nuts, hahaha. All the signs in the books have always pointed to Ron/Hermione, like it or not. I do happen to like them, but I don't like Harry and Ginny, for the reasons above, haha.
