An Update for the few of you still following my blog!

Lately it feels like I don't write in my blog often enough and as I said before it is a lot easier to posts entries when I am feeling somewhat down. At the moment life is really good.

I spent my first Christmas without my immediate family and I was expecting it to make me sad but it was actually very interesting. Growing up I had always just had my parents, brothers, 1 aunt, 1 uncle, 1 cousin and one set of grand parents around for Christmas. This year I was able to visit several people in my family that I never got to see over the holidays before and from that I was able to learn new things about my parents. On Christmas Day we even looked at old slides of pictures of my father's side of the family. It was interesting to see my father when he was only 7 years old up to the point where my mother became part of his life.

On the 26th of December I left for Denmark with a friend from work. We had rented a vacation house to spend the week surrounding new years there. There was 7 of us that went and I only knew my friend from work and one of the other girls I had met briefly. I really did not know what to expect on this trip. However, it was amazing, there was lots of partying, board gaming, whirlpool time, sauna time, walks and a jog along the beach, puzzling, crazy amounts of fireworks, and romance (for two of us anyway). Yes... romance, I feel in love over the trip, it was a super romantic and exciting time :)

Now it's back to (almost) normal. For 2010 I decided to spend less time at TaeKwonDo and more time at work during the hours I can be productive. The model I have been using at work is finally running well and hence work is getting more exciting.

I hope to have the time to post a bit more about my Christmas, New Year's and work experiences.
