I can only imagine that people who major in Linguistics or the Philosophy of Language must have nearly herniated with joy when it came time to diagram sentences in middle school. Right now, as I'm sitting here with my PoL textbook (the one that has dying unicorns on it), the thought occurred to me: "Oh, if only all of my English classes before college had combined grammar studies and C++, this would be so much easier!"
