(no subject)
i made the most delicious stir-fry today, kimstyle.
broccoli, breaded tofu, carrots, onions, soy sauce, and peanuts. om nom nom.
then my roommate made little melting cakes, that have like, chocolate magma on the inside!
i should not have eaten it.
then some people from the twelfth floor were shining a laser pointer into the kitchen, and so my roommate's boyfriend mooned them, and they lasered his ass! so the guys went upstairs to do whatever they were going to do to the assailants, but the perps didn't answer the door.
tonight i'm taking pictures of all of my decent work from the past two years, which, sadly enough, is not much. i mean, i guess it sort of is, but i don't feel like it is much to talk about. i feel like this year is the year i am going to start finding out about who i am as an artist more. hopefully i can get into soft sculpture soon, which is something i really want to do. and installation art.
i've been embroidering my brains out lately, and while they are just samples, it is a lot of fun.
maybe i will post pictures of what i've been up to, once the ball gets rolling on my final project.
in other news: i am trying to scheme up some cosplay ideas for april. juli is awesome and invited me along to armageddicon, so i am trying to think of costume ideas. with her and my mind combined, we can craft the hell out of some scraps and cheap materials, and turn them into jaw-dropping costumes, i just know it. hopefully my financial situation stays the way it is, or gets better, so i can go. what could would a costume be without anywhere to wear it?
in more news: cookie parties, card making/crafting parties, and hanging out with my grandma have been on the schedule. cookie parties are fun because traci is an awesome hostess, and my grandma jennie is a real fucking cool lady.
