Probably my current favorite in the photo world, William Seldon. I have been noticing photo works of Mr. William Seldon for a while now mostly in Uk based magazines like "the face". I scanned what I have found for you to see. I am very curious to find out what he does digitaly to the skin of the models because it is something I have never ever seen ( Read more... )

I think it's not just digital treatment but also make-up
I'm guessing it's a good mix of both things

make up, of course...but if you saw the pictures printed in bigger you would see how weird they look..everything shows under their skin and yet, it doesnt. i cant even explain it.

I know I'm only seeing small scans of the photos but I'm just saying this because I had this face mask that made your skin look like latex (it's probably not the best word but ok) it was like having a second skin, you got really doll like and glowing and it was just some sort of transparent liquid. I only used it once because it was awful and fucked up my whole skin but I was marvelled with the effect (somehting like those photos). I can't even remember what it was, I bought it at some natural products shop.

Anyway what I'm saying is that from these scans it looks like that have some sort of strange thing on their faces.

but I'm not really buying that we'd use that on every single photo shoot so he must me using some digital magic wand on top of a real carefully thought make up
