Misunderstanding or Plot Hole?
So I was reading this fanfic and in it a character was telling Naruto not to worry and that he'll pass the graduation test THIS TIME.
For the first time this got me to thinking. Naruto failed the test 2 times? 3? And yet he's the same age as everyone else in his class when he finally does graduate. What am I missing? Because now that I think about it, it seems that they started him before he was truly ready and thereby setting him up for failure.
I find this interesting that I haven't seen this little tidbit in someone's fanfic somewhere.
