A Last Update?
I went through my journal and privatized all my public entries to "friends only" and with that I believe it is time to close this journal. I suppose someday I should come back and transfer and save everything I have written to my own hard drive, for some future memoirs, but I cannot start that process now. Although there are many beautiful and happy entries over the 5 years I updated this journal, reading even a few of my past posts is surprisingly painful. Maybe it's because it includes lost dreams, shattered relationships and descriptions of intensely emotional memories. Whatever the case may be, I need to start fresh. I miss journaling and want to continue, but not with this account, not with these iron chains (yes many of these entries feel like chains).
