Christmas Christmas Time Is Here, Time For Joy and Time For Cheer

Damn, it's been a while since i've posted on here, I need to take some time to see how everybody on LJ is doing, it's been a crazy couple of weeks...
I sorta got my wish hehe, I have been 'living/working' in the US somewhat, as my boss has opened up an office/warehouse in Rochester, NY, Henrietta to be exact. So I have been down for days at a time. I think it's only like 6 hours to NYC from there, so I'm very tempted to go instead of showing up there to work. Haha, i'm working semi-illegally, considering I don't have a work visa, I have to say "I'm visiting friends" hehe.

The last month I've spent a third of my time in the good ol US of A and I've been having a blast. Last weekend I got to take part in the craziness that is Black Friday in Michigan, and I came back with an LCD tv I bought for 200 dollars at target. It was cool, considering we got to Target at 4am and there wasn't such a huge line there. Altough the outlets later on during the day was kind of a dissapointment as it was swarming with Ontarians, and it was so easy to pick out the Ontarians from the home-towners (No joke, the Canucks were all being so pushy and loud and obnoxious). It was great to go back and see the Red Wings play that night, even though we were sooo exhuasted from not sleeping all day. It's such a different atmosphere from ACC, where all the suits have the decent seats, and never EVER get into the game.

Highlights from Black Friday

- PF Changs and On the Border and yes even Chili's (mmmmmm....)
- Deja Vu at the Joe Louis Arena parking lot, when a dude started mooing with all the people herding towards their cars like cattle...hehe
- My friend Viv getting her shoe stuck on the movator at the bridge at sommerset collection, while the recorded voice was telling us to "please watch your step" haha, and all the people who stopped to make sure she was ok (which really weirded us out, just how friendly people were over there)
- The excitement of 6 peoples faces when they went to Meijer for the first time
- Louis' hallucinations after only getting 6 hours of sleep in 48 hours (at 3 am in the morning, Saturday/Sunday just out of nowhere "Holy SH!! I can't believe all the money i've spent" and then an hour later "Did we go into a new time zone" -->seriously, who says that when they hallucinate")
- I got a rash from one of those anti-bacterial lotions from bath and body works, I KNEW that there was something up with products from there.

Well, everybody have a great Christmas, and Holidays...later!
