i need to write more in here!
okay...super quick rundown of the last few weeks
friday before the 4th of july I went up to caseville after work, it was great got to eat some great perch from the bowlings..played some beer pong...it was very good...had to head home the next morning to pack for the wedding
met up with mike and michelle to head up north..stopped at mike's worksite in richville..pretty neat to see that..then to saginaw where i got some new shoes! and a bite to eat....then we had to rush a bit to get up to charlevoix in time....windy roads up that way, pretty good drive....the castle farms place looks awsome from the road...and well even better once your inside...great place for a wedding...very glad to see lee and tricia again...they looked great together...the wedding went very well, i really like the outdoor thing....right afterwards and continuing for the rest of the night we drank a lot of oberon...near the end I ended up asking a nice young woman to dance with me...and that turned out well....all i remember now is that she was from FL!
tue night i had a few people over....to play beer pong...Jeff R came over with a big roman candle and we had a little incident with that, but lucky nobody got hurt...
wednesday was cloudy here, but once i got up to caseville later in the afternoon it was great! took the jet ski for a ride as I watch CJ work on wave boarding....had one of the CJ lemonade drinks and walked the beach with CJ for a bit...quick ride into town to pick up pizza...it was great! later that night we blew off a lot of 3" mortors that was a lot of fun...had some moonshine and a great fire....a little freezbie action like last year also!
thursday i headed up north...took my time, was a good drive...went for a couple rides that night...friday we went canoeing out of mio...that was a lot of fun also...then back to pig out on all the great food as usual
saturday was hot so we ended up going tubing from stephan bridge to wakely bridge..that was a ton of fun...then another ride
sunday i packed up and came home...worked in the garden..it is coming well
ever since then we have been in a rather rainy spell...which is great because we were having a drought before!
i guess work went well at walbro and I even got some hours in at the farm pulling weeds in the beet filed behind joshes and cutting some 2nd cutting, its actually all down now I think...the wheat is getting really close to being ready....most people have already started
friday night i went up to the ubly beer tent with palmer^2...it ended up being a pretty good night for me...i must say, it really confirmed all the thigns i've read....i won't get into details..but textbook
saturday freak and I headed up to the pull...we ended up watching the last couple hours..till about 11:30...then to the beer tent, it was packed! i can't say that i had a super good time, but it was good....oh yeah...i saw Toni from bad axe both nights kinda suprised me
saturday was rainy early so chad and I went to baja, we didn't practice because the track was so muddy...but surivied the racing...don't think i did that well...can't remember for sure now
sunday back for more racing...track was a lot better this time...many riders....46 125C's so they had two groups..i ended up in 12 out of my group...i rode hard...and had fun...am sore today
tongiht i went blue berry picking back in the swamp...in an area that we have never gone before...a few bushes had a lot of really big berries...good time, went with mom, katelyn and aunt jill - later tongiht i worked at the garden at grandpa's...weed wacked some weeds in the garden and pulled weeds out of the corn
husked some sweet corn for dinner,feed the cows the husks...they are getting trained well...beatiful sunset tonight....
i know i missed a lot of memorable details...maybe i will add more detail later...but i wanted to get this wrote down so i will remember all the great times i have had the last few weeks...i hope the summer if full of many more...it is really going fast!
oh yea...the pumkin plants are going crazy! i guess that is what all the warm temps and about 2.5" of rain will do for them!
