(no subject)
i think its officially fall here - i've had to wear a jacket more than once, and the leaves are falling from the trees. and its midterms season. and fall break is next weekend (that's a pretty good clue..)
i'm actually studying today, its pretty exciting. i went to q phys office hours today, and that cleared up some things... and i talked to the professor about a course he's teaching next semester that i'm thinking about taking. its about optical imaging and microscopy - he said after the first month, i would be able to buy some lenses and make my own microscope, if i so desired. so thats pretty cool, if anyone wants a microscope, let me know :)
op amps are not so cool. we're better friends than we were last year, but still, they're annoying. i don't really like to treat anything like its a mystery box that just happens to do things. i guess that really is how they work though.
we have a treasury meeting today, then more qp studying, then a little sleep, then finally tomorrow is wednesday, and i can sleep in if i want (i shouldn't though...), and i have my medprep class, where the assistant director of admissions/director of financial aid from wash u med school is coming to talk to our class. if anyone has questions for him, let me know (i certainly don't have that many...).
its amazing how much i use wikipedia for looking up technical terms and diagrams. and random facts about everyone's favorite electrical engineer of the 20th century, Henrick Bode (Bod-ee, for those of you who have yet to be introduced to the wonder of Bode Plots). Did you know, he designed a circuit that made automatic artillery warfare possible? I certainly didn't. wikipedia could in fact be better than facebook- certainly more productive.
and, 3 ish days until mcat scores come out?? ugh. i really hope i did ok... otherwise my premed advisor is going to kill me. esp when he sees my grades from last semester. . .. . . ..
