ughhh....
so, school seems to be back in full swing. i'm psycho busy again, its kinda nice though. except for the fact that i've been trying to buy a parking pass all week, and i can never get there when its open... thats a little annoying, but i guess i'll find time sometime.
this turned into quite the crazy weekend too. we went out friday night to some parties, i presented my research from the summer for most of the day saturday, came home and slept ~3 hours, then went out again to a concertish thing and some parties, and ended up back here building a fort with friends in the living room. our fort kind of resembled an opium den (at least, as what i imagine one to be like), but then it quickly deteriorated into other things.... i went to sleep at 5, then had to be on campus at 10 for a group leader orientation. i left it early, and came home and freaked out with maria for awhile, then toured the hospital where i'll be volunteering. we got to go up on the helipad, it was so cool. you could see the arch and downtown in one direction, and in the other, you could see main campus (separated by a giant park from the hospital). i must admit, i felt a tad bit like i was on grey's anatomy. the helipad doesn't have any sort of guardrail or anything, its just a flat top of a building 8 stories above the street.
i'm presenting a paper at lab meeting tomorrow... hopefully that won't be too awful.
