It only hailed for a few minutes during my lunch. Granted I was out in it while it happened, but I am made of neither sugar nor salt, therefore, I do not melt.
Drove to work this morning, which always makes me feel bad, plus I will definitely have to exercise while Dan is at his Country Fair meeting tonight. Maybe while I watch something trashy, like something with Gordon Ramsey.
I am uncertain if I have spoken of my recent obsession with Gordon Ramsey. I can't explain it either. Once I was on BBC America trying to find out if Doctor Who was going to be on later that day, and there was Kitchen Nightmares, it sucked me in with the shouting, and then the lady crying, and then more shouting, then a restaurant makeover and the eventual triumph of what Gordon did/wanted vs. what the person that owned/ran the restaurant was doing. The only thing the show was missing was a 6 month later (or more) to show whether the changes actually stuck. I think I saw that on one episode, and the changes did stick and they made the restaurant actually profitable.
I only watch this show on Hulu after it airs. Obviously that makes my obsession slightly less embarrassing than if I watched the shows actually when they aired. Luckily at Dan's, I do not have cable, so, that makes my chances of seeing more shows like it on BBC America is slim. Though I will say that when at my place, I must see if there is a new Ashes to Ashes on the OnDemand. It is awesome and so very 1981. Though why the main character is always wearing the same outfit is beyond me. It is a great outfit though, red one shoulder shirt with black bra strap showing, tight blue jeans, white leather jacket and matching white leather boots. Though I wonder, did she get lessons on how to apply perfect 1981 eyeshadow (the character has time traveled, teleported, is hallucinating? Think Life on Mars (BBC version), but with a woman and is set in 1981) because if I got transported to 1981 I wouldn't have the faintest idea how do that perfect eyeshadow (or the hair for that matter).
Anyway, that is probably enough posting for now. Must get back to work. It is sunny now. Sort of.
