SO MUCH FUN!!!!!!!
Today in studio we went on a field trip (as we do almost every Friday) and it was so much fun!!!!! We went to Mt. Brilliant horse farm and we got a really cool tour from their in-house landscape architect. The farm is owned by this really rich guy that owns horses for fun and he has about 500 acres of land, his own camp site, his own lake, a garden that encompasses 750yd x 450yd, two huge houses, the stable that Man O' War was housed in, a creek that runs through his property, AND Russell Cave is in his "back yard"!!!!! It was so much fun because we were just driving all over this farm, down the winding roads and such, and we would stop every now and then and talk about stuff, but at the very end we went to the cave entrance and about 15 of us actually went in the cave!!!!! It was so much fun! This wasn't like hard core spelunking or anything but fun, no less, and it was so whimsical and spur-of-the-moment! We all just kicked off our shoes and waded right in the water. It was awesome 'cause their was quicksand and everything and if you stayed in one place too long you would sink to your thighs. Everyone rolled up their pants and their shorts and OH! It was just so much fun! AND AND AAAAAAAAND (!!!!!) we are planning a camping trip for everyone in second-year studio and it is going to be GREAT!!! We're looking for a place where we can just pitch some tents and start a bonfire, and preferably somewhere near a creek or water source of some kind. So if you know any good spots please fill me in! I was thinking the Gorge, maybe. Who knows? Send me your ideas! I'm in such a good mood!!!!!!!!!!!!!
