Solstice was very fulfilling this year. The menu was good and doable for us and the company was drama free for the most part. The most part being me making the interesting decision to put my left hand in a running blender and then being rushed for stitches and back before the dinner rush! Every year the 12-14 hour days take their toll a bit more on me though. Now, it's taking almost two full days to recover from the five preceding. By tomorrow I should be able to be human again instead of a thumb throbbing, whining, muscle-aching little girl.
