I was bumbling around on the Net and came across your blog. Your post about saying goodbyes to friends/family and leaving them touched a raw nerve...: ), I haven't seen my family for almost two years now. Luckily enough, I've got a twin brother to muck around with. We'll be going back to PNG over Christmas...back to the village in Rabaul to see the hoardes of uncles and cousins. Hehe, two years is a long time; the more I think about it, the more it hits home how much I've missed my family. But then I think of PNG food and for some strange reason that sinking feeling disperses...especailly the fish...fresh fish cooked on the fire. Fish always makes things better. Haha, thats if you love it I guess. Anyways, take care Ruth, and listen to your one wise aunt : ), don't study TOO hard, hehe. And this is your second post!!!

Thank you Deni. I don't actually like fish, but I know what you mean. Hope you have a wonderful summer in PNG and that your travels are safe. :-) Enjoy the warm weather while you've got it! :-)
