she went back to new orleans today. i miss her already. we had a great last night together at least.

i'm gonna go see her in April. that's when the jazz festival is. i hear it's cool as hell and the line up from last year was awesome. i can't wait to see who will be playing!
other than all that, i start my new job next week. i am getting excited and anxious. i hope i really love it. i think i will.
i am exhausted. haven't slept enough this past week. too much playin' around. the house is a mess again. it's been raining so much and the ants are coming in the kitchen in FULL force. it's disgusting. and it doesn't help that we don't keep the food and crumbs and beverage drippings off the countertops. i tryed to lecture the household on keeping it cleaner, but no response other than the look that says "lori you are a nag"

i finally get my laptop tomorrow. i checked the UPS tracker online and it says that it will come tomorrow. i just hope they don't need anyone to sign for it. i don't think anyone will fuck with it if they just leave it on the porch. . . i wonder what they would do if UPS left it on the porch and it got stolen!
