You had to get some drama to the poor gays, didn't you? ^_^ Unfortunately, alien abductions are extremely rare without hacks. In all my years of simming, Orville was the first and so far only. (Now half the neighborhood are afraid of being abducted, or relatives being abducted, or Orville being abducted again. Except the knowledge sims - they all want Orville to be abducted again. Not themselves. Hee.) Anyway, you got your drama at last! Enjoy it! And watch out for roaches near your overturned trash can each night...
I have a lot to catch up! You are blogging faster than I can comment... O_O
And I don't think your sims should complain, you have become rather more merciful over the years, I think. There was a point where I wondered if your little society would die out, but it sure doesn't look that way now!
Wow those are crazy rules. The round was pretty good entertainment. I love how the outsider is upset about cheating...he didn't know they were together???
LOL...poor Nero having no idea. Good luck with getting the aliens. I've had 2 different sims in Breeze Point abducted. Trent and Ame, neither of which got pregnant. I finally, after a week of having Ame at the telescope every night all night, got abducted again and is FINALLY pregnant....I'm trying for twins.
At least it wasn't Max and Nero. I was worried for a second there. I suppose that having the two of them so nice and faithful to each other might get kinda boring. Weren't they one of the only couples that was faithful to one another?
Up to this update they were faithful, and never rolled wants involving other sims, but it became inbearably boring to me, so it's my fault this drama happened ;)
I hope you do not mind a comment on a very old post!
Your discussion of your try-for-baby rules as they related to adoption made me think of the time my mother had an accidental adoption in The Sims 2. She had a somewhat elderly couple with six grown children try to call a repairman, and got a dialog box saying, "Congratulations, your request to adopt has been approved!" (She went through with it and had them adopt a child and it all worked out fine.) The very next expansion pack, Maxis added a dialog box saying, "Are you sure you want to adopt?" so that you can back out if you accidentally click the wrong thing. So I am guessing my mother is not the only one who had this problem. :)

I've had a few alien abduction through my years of playing, but not very many. Even fewer resulting in green off-spring.
Anyway, this couple became more fun to play now with the new rules, but they are not overly happy about it themselves!

IRL "the second" is probably very well aware of "the first", especially if they're at the cheater's house!
