Previously at Runemo, Oliver and Pontus were born and grew up to toddlers. Märta left for University and the old cat Robin died. A new kitten, Cosmos, was adopted. Annika had good grades and grew up to a Family teen with the LTW to marry off 6 kids.

Glad he came back! That was a narrow escape!
And congrats on the Golden Anniversary! It is so often bugged, I have completely ignored it for years. I never tried doing it over though.

I have heard stories bugged anniversaries, but sever seen it myself.
It won't work if the spouse is not an elder too (like first try with Barbro) or if the sim was unfaithful to their spouse, which can be a major risk in Mattsmyra ;)

Whew! Glad she was able to get David back from Grim. Personally I think they went a bit overboard with the overheating and/or freezing stuff in Seasons. Sims seem to succumb to the overheating far too easily.

My sims seem to be even more sensitive to freezing, stupid sims, this is a Swedish prosperity :D

Barbro has been a good girl all her life in this crazy Romance hood, despite the fact that she's got three bolts with Jerry Wern. It would have been so unfair if she couldn't have had her anniversary!

Wow poor David... was he working out before he passed out? geez I'm glad Barbro was able to save him, especially since I'm not sure you can get the golden anniversary LTW if she would be forced to remarry.

He didn't work out. It was just as I wrote it. They went to the park, he was exhausted and went to bed during daytime, woke up overheated and died on the spot.
About the Golden Anniversary I actually think it works even if you marry as an elder, which is stupid! But some things in the game are, don't you agree? :)

It was also completely random that they grew up in the same outfit, it was fun :)
