So, GP Entertainment decides to make a girl group.
Something different, someone memorable.
Oh hey, I know!
Let's throw some little girls out there onto that stage!
....... Seriously?
Are you REALLY that desperate?
GP Basic is a 6 member girl group that has recently debuted with their song "Game".
The song shows a catchy electronic pop beat with a sophisticated concept, along with the lyrics singing of compassionate crushing on a boy.
The oldest member is younger than ME!
The youngest is still 12 years of age!
Now, why is that shocking?
I mean, the whole concealed purpose is to follow the trend that is spreading throughout the Japanese music highway: young singers.
With the Hallyu Wave still strong, Japanese people will automatically have an interest in the young group.
Thus making the group automatically well-known without any promotions in the country itself.
More popularity = more $$
Now, here's the only a "few" bad things about it.
I. The girls will NEVER get a chance to live the life of a normal child again.
If the group itself becomes a success, the kids will have nothing in their minds except fame.
Nothing involving cute boys that give them a push on the swing set.
Or the big "oppas" who always watch over you.
If they ever want a steady relationship with ANYONE (whether it's friendship or, whatever)....
first of all, the fans won't like it.
If they are true idols, they won't get away with the raging fans and their furious jealousy.
Second of all, that other person they want a relationship with may either:
a) Just use them because they're famous or
b) never take them seriously and only see them with "a famous singer" rather a normal girl
II. The girls will literally be EXHAUSTED.
No matter how well the company wants to treat them, they have to make them known.
They need to come on variety shows, perform in concerts, have autograph signing meetings, fan meetings, etc.
And of course, they have the pre-rehearsals for the shows and also, if they're successful, they will have loads of fans to accept gifts and sign autographs for.
Now, do you think they can do ALL of that and MORE just before their "bedtime"?
NO.
They won't. For sure.
It will literally drive the girls exhausted.
With their ever-still growing bodies, it can REALLY affect their health and cause some serious chronic problems.
III. There are disgusting people out there.
As much as people deny the truth, there ARE indeed crazy people in Korea.
There are pedophiles, mentally unstable people, and just people who need help.
Why would you throw some innocent girls, younger than ME per se, onto a stage where EVERYONE can see them, INCLUDING the ones that I just stated?
Why?
So you can earn a little extra few thousand Won?
How disgusting IS that?
Especially with their concept and their "innocent" dance moves.
Yeah. Hip thrusts REALLY have no meaning towards ahjussis and pedos.
I have many more reasons to state why this group shouldn't be here.
But I believe this is enough to prove my point.
I still think they're young and I DO see their potential and talent, especially Janey.
I am NOT an anti! Ever.
I just don't support the decision of them coming out on stage so soon.
It makes me concerned for them like an older sister.
I mean what are the PARENTS doing about this?
Just saying "Oh, that's my child money maker up there"?!
I mean, if they just trained a little longer, and then they came out a LITTLE more older, then I will accept them for sure, because their song "Game" is pretty catchy(:
But I can't support them if I don't want them on that stage.
Listen you guys.
It's only because I care, okay? :D
And lastly, those Korean fans out there who support them disappoint me too.
How could you support this?!
First, 7Princesses have disbanded, I-13 didn't become THAT successful, and now GP Basic?
Do you know how many failed times Korea has had with young girl groups?
And you support that?!
Why don't you think of their health or something... PLEASE. D:
